Divided is an arcade reflex game you can play in your browser at playdivided.xyz or install as an app. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no ads. And in this version there is no telemetry either: everything the game records — every tap, every score — stays on your device. We cannot see you play.

Who is responsible

What the game records — and where it stays

To work at all, the game keeps a record of your play on your device:

• A raw event log — each tap you make (which button, when, hit or miss), so the game can compute your reaction times, accuracy, and score.
• Your results — scores, personal bests, and streaks.
• Your settings — sound on or off and the theme you play with.
• A random device identifier — generated on your device, shown to you in the game's Settings panel.

All of it lives in your browser's local storage (or the installed app's own storage) — and none of it is sent to us. The current version of Divided makes no network requests to our servers from inside the game: no gameplay events, no crash reports, no identifiers. Once the page has loaded, the game is fully playable offline, and it plays exactly the same with no connection.

Your scores are not backed up

Because nothing leaves your device, there is no cloud copy and no sync. Your scores, bests, streaks, and settings live in your browser's local storage or the app's own storage, and nowhere else. So deleting the app (or clearing your browser data for this site) erases them, and we cannot restore them, and they do not follow you to another device. That is the trade-off for having no accounts.

Server logs (website only)

When you load the site, our hosting provider processes standard technical data (your IP address, the requested page, timestamp, browser type) in server logs. This is necessary to deliver the site and to keep it secure and available (legal basis: our legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). These logs are kept only for a short period and are not combined with any profile about you.

Website traffic analytics

On the website's landing page only, we use OneDollarStats, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool, to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and referrers). It does not set cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build an individual profile. Because it sets no non-essential cookies, no consent banner is required (legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding site usage). The game screen and the installed app include no analytics at all — no OneDollarStats, no other third-party SDK.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The game uses your browser's local storage only to remember your own scores and settings, as described above.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. In this version we do not even receive your gameplay data. What processing exists on the website side is done only by the service providers needed to run the site (our hosting provider and the analytics tool named above), each acting on our behalf or under their own terms.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).

The game shows you its identifier rather than hiding it: open the game's Settings panel and you will find your Device ID next to the app version. In the current version we receive nothing keyed to it — an access request about gameplay data will honestly come back empty, because your data never left your hands. If a future version starts sending gameplay statistics (this policy will say so, see below), that Device ID is how you can ask us exactly what we hold, or ask us to delete it. You can always delete the app, or clear this site's data, which removes everything stored on your side.

Children

Divided is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The game requires no account, shows no ads, and never asks for personal information, so it can be played without providing any. In this version, gameplay data does not leave the device — at any age.

Changes

We may update this policy as the game evolves (for example, when gameplay statistics or purchases are enabled). The date at the top reflects the latest version.
